The Month of Ramadan: A Time of Blessings
When the crescent of Ramadan appears
We fast, and seek Allah's pleasure near
For this month is a time of devotion
A time to purify our hearts and emotions.
The gates of heaven are opened wide
As the devils and their whispers hide
And the gates of Hell are firmly shut
As we seek Allah's mercy and grace, but
It's not just about hunger and thirst
For we fast with sincerity and trust
Hoping to attain Allah's rewards
And to be forgiven for our past misdeeds and hoards.
We strive to be our best selves
As we fast, pray, and read the Quran on shelves
For this month is a chance to grow
And to strengthen our relationship with Allah, you know.
And if we stand for prayer on the night of Qadr
With sincere faith, and hope to find Allah's favor
Then all our sins will be forgiven, no matter how great
For Allah's mercy is infinite, and His love is our fate.
So let us cherish the month of Ramadan
With all its blessings, and its lessons to scan
For it is a time of spiritual renewal
A time to embrace our faith, and our purpose to jewel
