After you, I wasn't alone,

My loneliness was with me,

A constant reminder of what I had lost,

Of what could no longer be.

The silence that once brought comfort,

The memories we made together,

The world keeps moving forward,

But I feel stuck in time,

Wishing for a chance to turn back,

To when you were still mine.

Yet amidst the pain and heartache,

I find strength to carry on,

To face each day with courage,

And find a way to move along.

For though you may be gone from me,

I know that I'm not truly alone,

For I carry you in my heart always,
