The clouds pour down, my eyes are teary,

My heart is heavy, my thoughts weary,

Let go of your stubbornness, my love,

Come to me now, like the rain from above.

The drops fall hard, with a rhythmic beat,

Echoing the sound of my heart's entreat,

To have you near, to hold you tight,

And end this lonely, endless night.

So heed my call, oh cruel and unkind,

Open your heart, and ease my mind,

Let's embrace, and forget the pain,

Together, let's dance in the pouring rain.
