This is my secret

 

This is my secret, that I write English poetry too,

Words that flow from my heart and soul,

And though I keep it hidden from all to see,

My love for her is what makes them whole.

I'll keep these words close to me,

And wait for the perfect time to share,

On our first wedding night, we'll see,

How much these words truly care.

For in these lines, I've poured my heart,

And let my love for her take flight,

And though we've yet to be apart,

I know that our love will shine so bright.

So here's to the future, that's yet to come,

And the love that we share so true,

I'll hold these words until that time has begun,

And share them only with you.
